Basic-PSA, Inc. Company History

Basic-PSA, Inc. was founded in 1996 when Mr. Jack Matlock purchased the PSA Mechanical Shock Arrestor Division from Pacific Scientific in Yorba Linda, California.  As the new owner of the PSA Mechanical Snubber line, the company course of action was simple. Take one division within a company of multiple divisions and concentrate your full efforts on one product, the PSA Mechanical Snubber.  

The simple concept worked, the following years proved to be successful with repeated increases in company Sales and Service. Basic-PSA, Inc. is now owned and managed by an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The ESOP has allowed each individual employee to be part of the company growth and success.  Last year’s 2004 fiscal year under the full direction of the ESOP proved to be a record setting year for Basic-PSA, Inc. in Sales and Service.
